Kids discover the joy of poetry through a rollicking multicultural tour of raps and traditional verse.
Using selections from his favorite authors, Bobby makes poetry exciting and fun for younger kids. He turns traditional stories such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Billy’s Goat’s Gruff into finger-snapping, toe-tapping verse by transforming them into comical and creative raps, filled with zany vocal effects, lively animation, and tons of humor.
On request, Bobby can perform "readers theater" presentations of select Seuss stories, including Horton Hatches the Egg and The Big Brag.
Alternatively, Bobby, a published children’s author with five award-winning books, can bring to life excerpts from his own work. (This is your opportunity to bring in your own real life author!)
Bobby also offers a program for older students (Rap, Poetry and Prose) that includes classics from the Harlem Renaissance.
