Bullying hurts both kids and schools, but in different ways.
Schools are subject to discipline problems, decreased academic achievement, and poor attendance, while students can suffer from fear, low self esteem, depression, and even suicidal feelings.
In this new program, Bobby, a role model for kids of all ages and races, demonstrates through story positive ways of dealing with peer pressure, teasing, bullying, including cyber bullying, exclusion, and intolerance. As these tales unfold, students discover a variety of non-violent responses to bullying, and explore how these alternative behaviors can be translated into modern life, making school safer, happier and more educationally effective.
This program is ideal for grades K-8, and inspires a healthier, more engaging and compassionate classroom. Download a flyer.
Workshops on peer pressure and bullying are also available.
